Role Summary/Purpose: Project Data Analysts will be responsible for the organization and control of project and data analysis to facilitate the on:time delivery of Pipeline Inspection reports specifically post service client support.

Essential Responsibilities: As the Project Data Analyst, you will:


:Perform quality checks on the technical pipeline reports for common English / grammatical errors along with technical mistakes and consistency
:Track and manage the on:time delivery of pipeline inspection reports
:Ensure the satisfaction of client expectations for the inspection report
:Provide pre and post service client support
:Facilitate the reporting process
:Highlight problems to Team Leader and recommend workable solutions
:Utilize resources to meet reporting time scales and budgets
:Support the development of analysis methods and tools, in order to improve productivity
:Provide provision of an effective pre and post:sales support service for reporting information
:Report to various levels of management on project milestones : (including electronic tracking)

Qualifications/Requirements:
:High School Diploma / GED



Additional Eligibility Qualifications: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.


Desired Characteristics:
:Knowledge of GPS equipment and technologies with working knowledge of GIS systems, and their association with Integrity Management Plans
:In:Line Inspection (ILI) experience as; Analyst, Field Technician, Tracker
:Indirect Survey Knowledge (CIS, DCVG, ACCA) or other Above Ground Survey field experience
:Database management background
:Relevant understanding of analysis procedures and Quality Assurance procedures
:Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science
:Microsoft Office Suite (with a heavy focus on Excel) experience and competency
:Understanding of NDT, pipeline construction methods and materials, international defect sentencing codes and computer systems/software
:Appreciation of the client's needs from an inspection report and the development of analysis techniques to meet those needs in a cost:effective manner
:Ability effective communication skills in discussions with clients
