One part-time surgeon, and one full-time family practice physician (with a sub-specialty in travel medicine) looking for one highly motivated and talented individual for our front desk. Should possess outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills; be a self-starter, and detail-oriented; and able to multi-task accurately.

Routine duties include handling the phones; scheduling appointments; greeting and rooming patients; preparing and filing charts; verifying patient insurance information; ordering and stocking both medical and office supplies; obtaining authorizations for consultations and procedures; and scheduling surgeries at Alta Bates hospital. Must be a quick-study, and able to problem solve, in our increasingly bureaucratic medical world.
