My name is N. Bernard Taylor Tumnde, Esq. I am a Barrister, Solicitor & Notary Public in the Supreme Court of Cameroon. I work in a Corporate Law Firm of Seven (7) advocates and I specialise in Business Law.
I want to state here that in the Business field sixteen African countries signed a the OHADA TREATY in 1993 at Port Louis, Mauritius. Since this time these African states (Benin,Burkina Faso,Cameroon,Central African Republic,Comoros,Congo,Ivory Coast, Gabon, Guinea, Bissao Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Chad, Togo)have been applying the same Business Laws in their territory. The main reason was to create a condusive atmosphere for investments especially foreign investments.
As a business lawyer I want to state here that we are equiped to carry out all business transactions for for local and foreign companies in the 16 African States. I will now specify certain areas that are commonly done by us:
- Registration of Companies, both local and foreign.

- Company mergers.

- Facilitating the performance of business transactions such as contracts by local companies to foreign companies.

- Advise clients as to the various implications of the transactions or agreements they are entering into.
